The Reception Team have been instructed by the GP Partners to ask their patients a couple of non intrusive questions for them to be able to give you access to the most appropriate clinician on the day.

Failure to attend pre-booked appointments

From 1st April 2016 the following DNA policy has been adopted for all patients.

  • If you fail to attend a pre-booked appointment, we will advise you that you have missed an appointment.
  • If you fail to attend a second appointment at any time, a letter will be sent to you advising that a further missed appointment could lead to your removal from our register.
  • Should you fail to attend a third appointment at any time, you will be removed from our register following discussion and agreement from your registered GP.
  • If you arrive more than 10 minutes late for your appointment you will not be seen and will need to book another appointment. The missed appointment will be counted as a 'Did Not Attend'.
