The practice is approved as a GP training practice.  This means that doctors who have undergone further hospital training to be GPs will work with us to become more familiar with the special skills required for good general practice. 

Initially they may sit in with their Trainer’s surgery, but only with your consent, and over time will run their own surgeries. 

Education

We would not expect you to see a GP registrar unless you were happy to do so.  Sometimes training will involve the videoing of consultations.  Again this would only be done with your consent, both prior to the consultation and afterwards.  Any videos are only viewed by other doctors in order to assist in training the GP registrar, and the videos are erased after use.
